Great music, videos, songs - collected, found or recommended (new & old), oh and some fuzzy nonsense that, maybe everyone likes, or maybe not, but is great, nonetheless.
All collected & compiled by me.
She's got a new album out in February, with a heavy English influence. There's a great shot in the video below of a wave rolling back out to sea that, at first, I couldn't make out what it was, then it suddenly makes sense - it's genius. here's a new track from it - ````````````` The Last Living Rose.....PJ Harvey Official site
Watching this "Old Grey Whistle Test" performance of Five Years, from Bowie, circa 1972, makes you realise how good he is - the delivery is spot on - such a great artist, I just had to post this. Listen to the end and you will hear Bowie asking: "Is that OK?" - like he didn't realise what an amazing take this was...
Also from that same session "Oh, You Pretty Things"...
EDIT:
1974 BBC 'Cracked Actor' documentary - always good to find 'new' old bowie stuff:
This band were just always so good on record in the late Eighties, early nineties, but I never got to see them live, which is a big shame - just a great band and I never saw this video before, so makes up for never seeing them (well just a little bit)...
Update (28 Nov 2011): Fugazi have just released a massive archive of live recordings which the band have made over the years - the recordings are mostly taken from the mixing desks at all their gigs and thrown in an 'archive' (cupboard under the stairs). I've listened to a few tracks from these and they sound pretty good quality, considering they were all taken from tapes. The recordings can be had for a nominal sum (1-5 dollars US). Here is the link to that news from Dischord:
Taken from upcoming acoustic solo album from J Mascis entitled: Several Shades Of Why. Here's a free song from the mind of Dinosaur Jr, Deep Wound & Witch frontman & drummer, J Mascis

Hopefully not just inane ramblings, just testing some features at the minute.
I'm a self confessed music nut, so at the minute I am just gonna give some info, maybe reviews of some of the music I buy, but first up, some ramblings from a legend:
